Quick answers

How we checked these answers

Every answer is built from facts we checked against the sources below and cross-checked with recent port guides. Where sources disagreed, the answer says so instead of guessing a number.

Terminals & cruise lines

Which terminal does Royal Caribbean, Disney or Celebrity use at Port Everglades?

Disney ships usually sail from Terminal 4 at Port Everglades, Celebrity from Terminal 25, and Royal Caribbean from Terminals 18 and 19. Princess usually uses Terminals 2 and 21, Holland America Terminals 19, 21 and 26, and Viking Terminal 19. That comes from the port's own ship schedule and the lines' pages, and ships move between terminals, so confirm on your cruise documents. See every terminal.

What cruise lines sail from Fort Lauderdale?

Port Everglades lists Celebrity, Disney Cruise Line, Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Viking, Silversea, Crystal and the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection as the cruise lines that sail from Fort Lauderdale, plus the Balearia ferry to the Bahamas. Carnival and Norwegian are not on the port's list. Find your line's terminal.

Is the Fort Lauderdale cruise port the same as Port Everglades?

Yes. Port Everglades is the cruise port for Fort Lauderdale, at 1850 Eller Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Royal Caribbean's directions page is titled "Where is Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale)?". Princess says the port has three entrances: Northport, Midport and Southport. Your terminal decides which one you use. Find your terminal.

Hotels

Do any Fort Lauderdale hotels offer a shuttle to the cruise port?

Yes, three Fort Lauderdale hotels have a cruise ride, and all three bundle it or charge for it. Omni Fort Lauderdale's Sail & Stay package includes a port shuttle. Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port's Park Here, Cruise There offer includes a one-way ride for two and seven days' parking. Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port charges a fee for the ride and doesn't publish it. Compare the hotels.

Can you walk from a hotel to the Port Everglades cruise terminal?

Yes, from two hotels. The Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is a 0.55-mile walk of about 12 minutes to Terminal 2, and the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel is 0.58 miles, also about 12 minutes. Terminal 4 is only a little farther from each. Terminals 2 and 4 are the Northport terminals, so the walk suits Princess and Disney guests. See the hotels.

Parking

How much is parking at Port Everglades cruise terminal?

Parking at Port Everglades costs a daily maximum of $25 for a car, which applies once you've parked more than 12 hours. Hourly rates start at $5 for the first hour. The daily rate starts when you pull your ticket from the machine. Royal Caribbean's own directions page still prints $20 a day, but the port's page says $25. See the lots.

Where do you park for a cruise out of Port Everglades?

Park in one of the port's own lots, which you can walk from. Heron Garage serves Terminals 2 and 4, the Palm Garage serves Terminals 19, 21, 25 and 26, and surface lots A to D sit near Terminals 18, 19 and 26. A private lot such as Park By The Ports in Dania runs its own shuttle. Drop your bags at the terminal first, then park. See the lots.

Can you reserve parking at Port Everglades?

No. Port Everglades does not take reservations or prepayment for its parking, so every space is first come, first served on the day you arrive. You take a ticket at the gate and pay when you leave. If you want a guaranteed space, a private lot such as Park By The Ports lets you reserve online. See the lots.

Is there cheap off-site cruise parking near Port Everglades?

We've confirmed one: Park By The Ports, at 100 Fronton Blvd. in Dania. Its own booking page quoted $133.66 in total for a 7-night sailing from November 14 to 21, 2026, including $5.00 in fees and tax. It costs $35 for up to 24 hours. The port asks you to call 954-468-3680 for details. Park By The Ports, the private lot we've confirmed, doesn't allow RVs. See the lots.

Embarkation day

What time should I arrive at the Port Everglades cruise terminal?

Your cruise line assigns your arrival time, so use the one in your check-in, not a guess. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Disney have you pick a window in online check-in, and Disney won't let you into the terminal before it. Holland America assigns a time about 14 days out and asks you not to arrive more than 20 minutes early. Princess uses Arrival Groups in its app. Find your terminal.
