    Quick answers

    How we checked these answers

Every answer is built from facts we checked against the sources below and cross-checked with recent port guides. Where sources disagreed, the answer says so instead of guessing a number.

    Terminals & cruise lines

Where is the Jacksonville cruise terminal?

Every Jacksonville sailing leaves from the JAXPORT Cruise Terminal at 9810 August Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32226, in northeast Jacksonville near I-295. From I-95 or I-295, take Exit 41 (Heckscher Drive), follow the signs and turn onto August Drive. Carnival and Norwegian both use it, so there is no terminal to choose between. See the terminal.

What cruise lines sail from Jacksonville, Florida?

Carnival sails from Jacksonville year-round, on four- and five-day Bahamas cruises. JAXPORT lists Norwegian as a seasonal line, sailing November through April on four- and five-day cruises to the Bahamas, Key West and Great Stirrup Cay, with some longer trips. Both use the same JAXPORT terminal. See the terminal.

Where do cruises go from Jacksonville?

Carnival Elation's four-night sailings call at Celebration Key and Nassau, and its five-night sailings at Half Moon Cay and Celebration Key; some five-night trips swap in Princess Cays. Norwegian's seasonal cruises head to the Bahamas, Key West and its private island, Great Stirrup Cay. Itineraries change, so check your own sailing. See the ports.

    Hotels

Which hotels near the Jacksonville cruise port have a shuttle or cruise parking?

Visit Jacksonville lists TownePlace Suites Jacksonville Airport and Tru by Hilton Jacksonville Airport as offering cruise packages with a one-way shuttle to JAXPORT, and the Courtyard by Marriott I-295/East Beltway sells a Park and Cruise Package with free parking and free rides to the terminal. Hampton Inn Jacksonville East and WoodSpring Suites I-295 East offer cruise parking for guests but list no shuttle. These hotels are about 6 to 10 miles from the terminal by road, so none is a walk. See the hotels.

    Parking

How much is parking at the Jacksonville cruise port?

JAXPORT's lot beside the terminal charges $17 a day for a passenger vehicle, tax included. That works out to $68 for a four-day cruise and $85 for a five-day cruise. Oversized vehicles that take two spaces pay $34 a day. Compare the parking.

Where do you park for a cruise out of Jacksonville?

Most people park in JAXPORT's own fenced, lit lot next to the terminal, with no shuttle needed. JAXPORT patrols it around the clock and says it is ample and does not sell out. Guides also mention private lots nearby, but we could not confirm one on its own page, so none is listed. See the parking.

Do I need to reserve parking at the Jacksonville cruise terminal?

No. Since June 22, 2026, JAXPORT no longer accepts new prepaid parking reservations, and ones made before then are still honoured. You pay on arrival by credit card only, because the terminal takes no cash. See the parking.

Is there free parking at the Jacksonville cruise terminal?

Only for a narrow group. JAXPORT parks free a vehicle carrying the person a disabled permit or plate was issued to, if it also has specialized adaptive equipment, a Florida Disabled Veteran plate or a permanently affixed Florida Toll Exemption decal. A standard disabled placard on its own does not qualify. See the parking.
